I'm studying mechanical engineering because i'm interested in machines and the quality of teaching is excellent, faculty are so interactive with the students. syllabus is updated date to date without any late.

yes, our college has all the facilities and infrastructures we have facilities like wifi, smart boards and seating and acoustics, and labs are euipped up to date equipment relevent to the subjects being taught
Campus Life
our is campus is india's no 1 beautiful college. it is best in its infrastructure and academic performance, students engage in sports and cultural activities. staff is very friendly with students .it is safe and it can handle emergencies.
Placements
the placements are quite good 40 percent of students are placed in our college and the highest package is 40 lakhs/annum. the average salary is 6/annum and the placement process is so easy our is very supportive

A decent academics are their in the college. Teachers are good but at same time some of them are just being following the old pattern.
We are being taught some good industry required technologies at the college but need more to grab the best packages.
College Infra
Wow, that's what you will say after looking at our campus.
Beautiful view with greenery and more amazing in the rainy season. I didn't like the mess food at all. Also good built hostel rooms with proper wifi facilities are present.
Placements
The on campus placements are good at NIT srinagar more over some best of best companies recruit students from the CSE branch.
Also their are a good no. of companies for the other branches also.
The average package is around 10.5 Ipa.

Academics
I am studying B.tech in civil engineering and the quality of teaching is excellent. The curriculum is updated and it includes all the recent developments and the practicals and theroies, whatever we study makes us job ready.
College Infra
The college infrastructure is very good and having a big campus with full of amenities. The college has hostel facilities, message facilities and well equipped labs , wifi are everywhere, libraries are there .
Placements
The quality of the placements is very good and almost 90% of the students gets placed and some of them became entrepreneurs . The highest packaged offered is around 25 lpa and the average is around 8 lpa .the college is very much supportive.

Taking admission in nit srinagar in civil branch or in any other college in cse branch completely depends on your choice. It depends on your thought process and the field in which you want to further pursue your study. Both the branches are suitable and best for pursuing engineering but it depends on whether which field you are interested to excel your carrer.

Does NIT SRINAGAR provides Hostel facility for PG/MTECH students
Hello there,
No, there is no accommodation provided by NIT Srinagar for PG\M students. NIT Srinagar only provide hostel for First year B.Tech Students. There are separate hostel and mess for boys and girls.

if u have the homestate quota then there are few chances that u can get into lower branches of nit shrinagar
atleast try to secure 95-96 percentile to get core branch
