College Infrastructure
IIT Patna’s campus is picturesque, with modern classrooms and well-equipped lecture halls. The college hosts various clubs and events, fostering a vibrant student community. Hostel food is also very good and Library is well maintained.

College Infrastructure
All the classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards, AC, Wi-Fi, etc. Also, all labs are as per industry standards and research culture are also very good here at IITP. There is total four hostels' functions currently out of which 3 are boys' hostel and 1 is girls hostel, all hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi and many indoors games, common room for study as well as one common room for enjoying various games like cricket, football, etc. Overall mess quality is quite good but you will definitely going to miss your home no matter how good it is.
Overall experience is good.

College Infrastructure
The hostel accommodation at IIT Patna is subpar, and the quality of food in the mess is declining every year. The Central Library is still under construction, and the current temporary library is consistently at full capacity. Overall, the sports facilities are satisfactory.

You haven't mentioned the course in which you want admission in IIT Patna. The admission to various courses is different. Students seeking admission to undergraduate engineering courses have to JEE main and JEE advanced and after that they have to register with JOSAA for counseling.
And students seeking admission in post-graduate engineering courses have to secure a valid score in GATE and then register with COAP.

Dear Aspirant, See IIT Patna has higher ranking. Median Salary of IIT Patna is 14 lakhs. IIT Patna is one of India's best engineering colleges, with exceptionally excellent faculty standards. The college has excellent placement standards, which is one of the reasons I chose IIT Patna.

The machines, etc are old in the old departments such as mechanical, etc. However, departments like CSE and Mathematics have brand new buildings, computers, etc. In mechanical and civil engineering branches, core placements chances are very low, but there are high chances for non-core placements. However, CS and electrical students have good placements, and metallurgy and material science students also have good chances to get placed better. The institute has successfully placed 94.5% of BTech and 57.4% of MTech students during the IIT Indore placement 2022.

To be honest, 80 is an amazing score but it does not guarantee your seat into IITs. For getting into an IIT, you need to score good in JEE mains and advance. Admissions into IITs is only based on that. All the best !
