IIT Jammu Admission Process
IIT Jammu admissions are offered to B.Tech, M.Tech. and Ph.D programmes. IIT Jammu B.Tech admission is done through Joint Entrance Examination - Advanced (JEE-Advanced) rank which is conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA) and administered by Joint Admission Board (JAB) through a centralised counselling conducted by JoSSA at all-India level. IIT Jammu accepts JEE Advanced scores of candidates for admission to the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programmes.
IIT Jammu admission to the Master of Technology (M.Tech.) courses is done based on marks obtained by candidates in GATE. As per the IIT Jammu admission process, the final selection of candidates in the M.Tech courses is done after a written test and personal interview conducted by the IITJ. IIT Jammu admission process includes a written test and personal interview for admission to Ph.D courses. It must be noted that only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for IIT Jammu admission.

How can I apply for IIT Jammu admission?
Candidates must visit the official website of IIT Admission and apply online through the official website.
After that, they are required to register on the institute website with their valid email ID.
Candidates need to select the course applying for and fill out separate application forms for different programmes
Then, they are required to fill details as given in the form and save the form
After that, candidates should upload their recent passport size photograph, mark sheets and other documents

The candidates must appear for JEE Main and qualify for JEE Advanced.

Hello candidate,
It mostly depends on which branch you are getting in both the colleges. If you are getting computer science in igdtuw, then you should go for it anyday. Its in delhi, so the tech placements are pretty nice as it is in delhi and then location factors comes into the picture. But if you want a tag of an iitian and you think you can do well and will do hardwork even being in a lower branch in iit jammu then you can go for it. However do the location of iit jammu, most students dont prefer to go there. Dont think much, wherever you will go, you will do great!!
