72 MonthsThe Department of Electrical Engineering in the School of Engineering at Shiv Nadar University invites applications for admissions to its Ph.D. Research Areas: Power system stability integrated with renewable energy and storage, RF and Microwave (Electromagnetics, Antenna) Engineering, Signal Processing and communication, VLSI Circuit design, Wireless mobile communication and networks, Advanced Semiconductor Devices / MEMS Devices, Power Electronics and Drives, Electromagnetic analysis in Electrical machines, Electrical Vehicles etc. Descriptions of research interests of our faculty can be found at here Department is also engaged in interdisciplinary work with research groups spanning across schools at SNU.
Eligibility Criteria
First Division in M.E. / M. Tech. or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized Technical Institute or University. OR M.S./M.Sc. students are also eligible under special circumstances. They must have exceptionally good academic credentials, preferably with a good GATE/CSIR/UGC-NET score, and strong aptitude for research.
Admission Details
Selection to the Ph.D. program is based purely on the performance in the admission test and interview.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of the college is very good, the washrooms are clean and all the classrooms, including the library, are fully AC. There is a collection of thousands of books in the library which is open till 12 am midnight and till 2 am during exams. The food in the mess is good.
