Academic Scholarship | Scholarship will be awarded in the range from 10% to 30% on tuition fees of 1st & 2nd semesters | This scholarship is for all students who have applied for admission for UG courses except Global Pathway Program (GPP) and have taken the 12th CBSE board / ICSE board or any state board exam. The total number of scholarships available is up to 2335 (out of these all girl students who score more than 60% marks in class 12th). Scholarship will be awarded up to 30% (tuition fees only) and awarded if acceptance fees are deposited within timelines. |
Scholarships for Uttarakhand Bonafide Student | 30% concession on tuition fee | This scholarship is for a student who is a Uttarakhand Bonafide resident. Gross family income is not more than Rs. 12 lakh per annum. |
Fellowship for MTech programmes | Scholarship upto Rs. 12,400 per month | Students admitted to the M.Tech course with a valid GATE score of 75 percentile and above will be considered for a scholarship. Minimum SGPA / CGPA 8.5 in the first Semester and subsequent semesters/ year. Passed every semester on the first attempt without any supplementary or improvement exam. Obtained a minimum of 75% attendance in the entire semester. |
Freeships | N/A | This scholarship is for students who come from the economically weaker section. Upper age limit for UG and PG programmes- is 20 and 25 years. Family income under the EWS category is to be up to Rs.8 lakhs per annum from all sources. As the free ship is only for one year, the renewal of free ships in the subsequent semester will be based on the 6.0 SGPA /CGPA in the last exam passed. |

Student Financial Support | The financial support extended by UPES is a relaxation of Rs 50,000 towards the tuition fee per semester till the last qualifying semester. | UPES has extended financial help to those students who are unable to pay the tuition fee on account of having lost any of the earning parents after taking admission at UPES and after submitting full fees (at least one semester). Candidate should maintain/ improve their academic performance every semester. Candidates applying for relaxation should not have any NC (Not Clear) or Backlog in any semester. College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of the campus is excellent, giving it a vibrant and scenic ambiance typical of UPES in the hill station of Dehradun. The campus provides good facilities and has a dedicated cleaning staff. However, the Wi-Fi can be somewhat problematic at times. There are various indoor and outdoor games available for students. Various events took place our campus on weekly basis. Proper hygiene is maintained in canteen and cafeteria.

The college is pretty clean and well maintained There are equipments provided Projectors help us grasp quick because of the visual representations And the living spaces and food is clean and hygienic as well.

The hostel fees of school of computer science University of petroleum and energy studies is 1.57 lacs per year. The hostel fees can rise up to 1.98 lacs per annum according to the number of facilities you choose. This includes the mess fees as well. There are various other facilities as well provided to the students. These facilities are internet, 24 hours electricity and water supply. Power backup system is also there. The hostel rooms are distributed on sharing and single basis. The hostel also provides cooler facilities water purifier, geyser etc.

Hi Aparna, there are a variety of scholarships offered by colleges in different regions. Based upon the quota that they have could be primarily SC-ST quota, Minority quota, Females from a financially weak background and so on. To apply for these scholarships, they demand for some legal documents such as OBC certificate and so on.
