Academics
The teaching system is strong, with experienced professors who explain concepts clearly. The syllabus is updated with industry needs, and practical sessions are well designed. Students get guidance for projects, research, and higher studies, which builds confidence and skills.
College Infra
RV College has a large and modern campus with smart classrooms, advanced labs, and good Wi-Fi access. The library is huge with plenty of books and e-resources. The environment feels professional, giving students real exposure to quality learning facilities.
Campus Life
The campus is lively with cultural fests, hackathons, sports events, and student clubs. Students from across India create a diverse and vibrant environment. Life here feels energetic, and there are many chances to grow beyond academics.

BE Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2022-01-01
Academics
I studied ECE and most of the lecturers were good. However, some did not know what they were teaching and expected you to know everything going in. The curriculum when I was studying was not updated, though I can't speak for current batches.
College Infra
When I graduated, the ECE building was falling apart. The library was understocked as well. I see they've made improvements recently so its better now. The Wifi was unreliable and the gym was subpar. The labs were well stocked though. The food used to be good in my first year but declined along the way.
Campus Life
The college campus is good and very accessible. The on-campus doctor is sufficient for emergencies. The activities are limited however. The sports courts are useable though and are fun. The fests during my time there were supposed to be held every year but due to covid and management issues, there was only one fest that resulted in a disease outbreak - not fun.
Placements
The placements were officially 100%. But the core placements were extremely rare. The placement process training was non existent. The placement process included internships that were not considered as final projects and that was why I had to drop my placement to pursue a final project as well.
Value For Money
I was a student that paid donations to get into the college - management quota. That cost me 25 L in total over 4 years. I did not feel I got my money's worth because my placement, the level of education, and the exposure was subpar.

RVCE Bangalore and aVIT Vellore both are good engineering colleges with good academic prospect. But talking about placements RVCE has an average package of 11.43LPA for CSE Branch and VIT Vellore on other hand has an average package of 12-13 LPA for CSE Branch considering that VIT Vellore
