Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon provides various types of placements to students studying in their final year. According to the MDI Gurgaon placement statistics 2023 provided by the official website, the total number of recruiters including new recruiters visited the college is 21. The total number of students placed in the MDI Gurgaon placement drive is 472 (batch consisted of 238 students from PGDM, 120 students from PGDM-HRM and 114 from PGDM-IB programme). MDI Gurgaon placement highest salary package was Rs. 60 LPA. The corporations release the final results.

To answer your question, NO. All the students of premier B-schools in India do not have the above criteria. Though they are preferred, but what all the students have is a good profile, with good academics, and good co-curricular and extra-curricular.
Also, having work-ex is not mandatory, though it would help you is B-schools.
