BIT Sindri Placements

The training and placement cell of Birsa Institute of Technology Sindri aims to facilitate interaction between college students and the corporate sector, to create placement opportunities. According to the NIRF data, 680 students were placed during the year 2022-2023. In the year 2023, BIT Sindri's lowest package was between under Rs 4 lakhs whereas Rs 5.6 lakhs per annum was BIT Sindri's Average Package from the CSE department.

The maximum number of offers made was between Rs 4 lakhs to Rs 6 lakhs. Through skill-based training, guidance, and internship, the BIT placement cell has bridged the gap between academic and industrial understanding. Industrial Tour and Training is an integral part of BIT Sindri, providing hands-on learning experiences and exposure to current work practices. Placement of bit sindri is really incredible because being a tier 2 college it beats some of nit's because it has a overall Placement ratio of more than 95% ....And if we talk about it's average package it goes more than 10 lpa and in mechanical it is more than 12 lpa ....... And it's highest package is 64 lpa .....

If we talk about placement, the college is one of the best in the country since its return of investment is great,like throughout the branches the avg package is around 8lpa whereas the overall fees is less than 3 lacs for 4 yr.Also the placement percentage is quite impressive as it provides 80-90% placements as far as i know.

Our college almost 90% placement rate in the core branches like electrical,mechanical and chemical etc. While it witnessed 70% placement rate in the tech branches like CSE, IT branches. Our college provides internships in the 2nd and 3rd year.

What was JEE rank for general category to get admission in BIT Sindri

Hello aspirant,

Based on past year's trends, I think you need to be at least in the 93 percentile to get into ECE, ME, or EE, or maybe Mining or Metallurgical, to get admission in BIT Sindri. You roughly need ranking under 80,000 in JEE Mains for admission in this college.

Hello,

For B.Tech degree in BIT, you have to appear for state's own entrance test, JCECE conducted by Govt. of Jharkhanad.

For M.Tec, you have to appear for GATE exam.

Hello Aspirant,

The eligibility criteria of jee mains are as follows -

Candidates should pass from any recognised board or University in their class 12th.
Candidates should opt for physics chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects.
Candidates should secure a minimum of 75 percentage in their class 12th.

But you can sit for jee mains and try to get a good percentile so that you can get a good branch in BIT Sindri.
