Based on past year's trends, I think you need to be at least in the 93 percentile to get into ECE, ME, or EE, or maybe Mining or Metallurgical, to get admission in BIT Sindri. You roughly need ranking under 80,000 in JEE Mains for admission in this college.

For B.Tech degree in BIT, you have to appear for state's own entrance test, JCECE conducted by Govt. of Jharkhanad.

For M.Tec, you have to appear for GATE exam.

The eligibility criteria of jee mains are as follows -

• Candidates should pass from any recognised board or University in their class 12th.
• Candidates should opt for physics chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects.
• Candidates should secure a minimum of 75 percentage in their class 12th.

But you can sit for jee mains and try to get a good percentile so that you can get a good branch in BIT Sindri.

No, you can't take admission in BIT SINDRI if you don't have domicile of Jharkhand.

A Jharkhand domicile is required to register at BIT SINDRI. Domicile certificate is the first evidence that you are a citizen of Jharkhand since BIT SINDRI is solely for students of Jharkhand and not for students from other states.

Procedure to take admission :-

You must first take the JEE MAIN exam and attempt to achieve a high percentile and decent rank. You must submit an application to be included to the Merit List on the JCECE website based on your ranking. JCECE will thereafter publish the state rank merit list. You can apply for admission to BIT SINDRI based on your state rank.

Yes, you can get mechanical in BIT Sindri, for that you have to participate in the counseling round which is done after some months of JEE mains and there you will get colleges which are under Jharkhand government and you can get into BIT Sindri.
