YES you will not see IT branch in mnnit as from this year onward mnnit has discontinued its IT branch hence you should consider cse branch there as the seats of IT branch have been merged with that of the cse branch, the reason was the waning interest of candidates and firms to opt for the IT branch, moreover mnnit is planning to start an applied mechanics branch but when it would come into force it is not known

But in general , they generally ask for the family income that is both father and mother. If you can make an income certificate for mother also submit that. You would be on safer sider.

Thinking of the future benefits that you can avail, I think studying Chemical Engineering would be a wise choice among the three. Now coming to NIT Bhopal, overall the college provides great academic environment, faculties are quite helpful and your career would be embraced. Placement Package starts from 4-7 LPA. It's a tough choice between nit Rourkela and nit allahabad because both are best of the nits . It actually doesn't matter whichever nit you choose between the two.

But let me tell you some of the facts that nit Rourkela has a huge campus area than nit allahabad . The hostel and mess of the both colleges are good. But the problem is in mnit allahabad you will get only veg not non veg.

The placements of the both the colleges are at par so it doesn't create any difference in this section.

Based on academics, infrastrucure, faculty, research, placements, alumni network and national/international presence, NIRF/NAAC ratings, different colleges in India are categorized in different tiers such as tier 1, 1.5 or 2 etc.

Being an older NIT, MNNIT Allahabad, has great alumni spread all over the world ,with decent placement and study culture. It is a tier 1.5 college. And IIT Patna is a tier 2 college.

In my opinion you should go for NIT Allahabad.

NIT Andhra is one of newly established NITs. The average package for 2019 batch in NIT Andhra was 5.87 Lakh while the NIT Allahabad has average package of around 9 Lakh. Also NIT Allahabad has better Rankings than NIT Andhra. I suggest you to go for NIT Allahabad as it is better than NIT Andhra.

Avoid going for Dual Degree Courses, unless youre generally interested in the Respective Subject. ECE at NIT Durgapur seems a good choice to me, or maybe BTech Mechanical or Electrical if you get at some of the Other Good NITs. NIT Durgapur has strong faculty, infrastructure, research facilities and placements as well as excellent study groups for Preparation for GATE, Etc.
