MA Development Studies is a full time two-year post-graduate degree course offered by Bharat Ratna Dr. BR Ambedkar University, Delhi.

The two-year MA Development Programme is transacted through classroom lectures, workshops, seminars, and field projects. The program emphasizes research and analytical skills, oral and written communication, and exposure to development practice. The program lays a strong emphasis on training students in social research in the broad space of development.


Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate must have passed the BA with at least 45 percent marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized University in any discipline (relaxation of 5 percent for candidates belonging to ST/ SC/ PWD categories).

Candidates appearing for the final year examination of a degree can also apply

Admission Details

Admission will be based on a two-stage process with a written examination and a personal interview.
