I want to know with neet mds rank of 1172 what are the chances of getting hs judge college and what branch

Anonymous 19th Jul, 2025

With a NEET MDS rank of 1,172, your chances of getting admission to Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences, Chandigarh, are very strong under the All India Quota. The institute’s closing rank for general category candidates in recent years has been well beyond your rank, making you eligible for consideration. While top clinical branches like Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, and Endodontics may be highly competitive and close at lower ranks, you still have a good chance of getting clinical specialties such as Periodontology, Prosthodontics, or Public Health Dentistry. Final allotment will depend on your category, the choices filled, and seat availability during the counselling rounds. Overall, your rank positions you well for admission into a reputable government dental college like HS Judge with a clinical branch.

I gave mba cet exam and I scored 64 percentile. I did bsc in computer science and i did cources for linux AWS and devops in nagpur. Now I am thinking about specialising in mba IT but I am not sure also my score isnt really good and I want to get placed soon I dont have an experience with placements and Im searching for colleges with under 2 lakh fees.

Anonymous 10th Jul, 2025

Hey,

You got 64 percentile in MBA CET. You have a B.Sc. in Computer Science and have done courses in Linux, AWS, and DevOps. MBA in IT suits your background well. But  your score is not very high, you can target good private colleges with IT placements. If you want a job soon, focus on internships, skill-based courses, and small projects. This will help you improve your profile and increase your chances of getting placed quickly.

Hi I m a Neet mds student. Can I know how the all india 50 percent category rank works. Thank you

Anonymous 18th Jun, 2025

In NEET MDS, the All India 50% category rank is your rank among candidates of the same category (like OBC, SC, ST) only for AIQ 50% seats. It helps in category-wise seat allotment during counseling. The lower the rank, the better your chances in your category.

PHD management s value of this university ,does one get jobs for not after phd from here

Anonymous 21st Apr, 2025

The value of a PhD in Management depends a lot on the university's reputation, faculty, research output, and industry connections. If the university is well-known and has good placement support, you have better chances of getting academic or corporate research jobs. However, from lesser-known universities, job opportunities might be limited unless you actively network, publish quality research, and gain teaching or consulting experience. So yes, jobs are possible after a PhD, but much depends on your efforts and the university’s standing.

In SPIT mumbai after doing a polytechnic diploma course do I have to give any entrance exams like JEE mains or MHTCET to pursue b.tech in CSE through lateral entry

Anonymous 13th Apr, 2025

Hii,

If you've completed a polytechnic diploma and are considering pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) through lateral entry at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (SPIT) Mumbai, here's what you need to know:

Lateral Entry Admission at SPIT Mumbai

SPIT offers a 3-year B.E. in Computer Engineering program specifically designed for diploma holders seeking lateral entry into the second year of the undergraduate program

Entrance Exam Requirements

Admission to the lateral entry program typically requires candidates to have a valid score in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) . While the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a common entrance exam for engineering programs, SPIT primarily considers MHT CET scores for its admissions

Admission Process

  1. Eligibility : Candidates must have completed a diploma in engineering or technology with a minimum required percentage as specified by the institute.

  2. Entrance Exam : Appear for and secure a qualifying score in the MHT CET.

  3. Application : Apply through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.

  4. Counseling and Seat Allotment : Participate in the counseling process, where seats are allocated based on merit and preferences.

Additional Information

  • Institute-Level Quota : SPIT reserves a certain percentage of seats under the institute-level quota. Admission under this quota may have different criteria and is managed directly by the institute .

  • Fees : The total tuition fee for the 3-year lateral entry program is approximately 4.57 lakh

Can I get into FMS Delhi with poor academics? 1. 10th - 7CGPA 2. 12th- 56.2% 3. Diploma- 72% Currently Im in my final year of B. Pharm

Prachi Kumari 6th Apr, 2025

Hello,

Admission to FMS Delhi primarily depends on your bachelor's degree performance and CAT exam score. For general category applicants, a minimum of 50% marks in graduation is required.

While FMS does consider Class 10 and 12 marks during the selection process, they allocate only 10% weightage to these scores.  Therefore, your current academic record in B. Pharm will be the most significant factor.

To enhance your chances, aim for a high percentile in the CAT exam , as FMS places substantial emphasis on CAT scores during admissions.

Hope it helps !
