Hello! I got 71 percentile in the Tancet exam and my caste is BCM.

Anonymous 15th Jul, 2025

With a 71 percentile in TANCET and belonging to the BCM category, you have a fair chance of securing admission in Tier 2 or Tier 3 colleges affiliated with Anna University, especially for branches like MBA or MCA. Admission chances in top colleges like CEG or PSG Tech may be limited as their cutoffs are typically higher (above 85–90 percentile for BCM candidates).

You’re likely to get calls from good private and government-aided institutions in the next round of counselling. Keep an eye on the official counselling schedule and make sure to participate in TANCA (TANCET Counselling) when it opens.

Can i get MAIT college in 622 rank in ipu cet for mba but i have not given cat exam ,i have only given ipu cet ,so can i get that college ? (delhi candidate)

Prachi Kumari 4th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Yes, with a 622 rank in IPU CET for MBA and being a Delhi candidate, you have a good chance of getting admission in MAIT (Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology).

You don’t need to worry about not giving the CAT exam. IPU CET rank is enough for admission in MAIT under the CET quota.

Just make sure to keep MAIT high in your preference list during counselling.

Hope it helps !

what do i do if my photo is not in the issued admit card for cusat cat 2025

Anonymous 5th May, 2025

If your photo is missing from the CUSAT CAT 2025 admit card, it’s not a major issue and can be resolved. First, contact the CUSAT admissions office by email, explaining the problem and providing your application details. They may ask for additional documents, such as a recent passport-sized photograph. Once they respond, print the admit card and affix the photo in the designated space. Make sure to handle this promptly to avoid any issues on the day of the exam.

Hi aspirant,

When preparing for BBA entrance examinations, including those for MS University, consider choosing a combination of books that cover major disciplines such as Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and English.

  1. R.S. Aggarwal's books on quantitative ability and reasoning are well praised.

PHD management s value of this university ,does one get jobs for not after phd from here

Anonymous 21st Apr, 2025

The value of a PhD in Management depends a lot on the university's reputation, faculty, research output, and industry connections. If the university is well-known and has good placement support, you have better chances of getting academic or corporate research jobs. However, from lesser-known universities, job opportunities might be limited unless you actively network, publish quality research, and gain teaching or consulting experience. So yes, jobs are possible after a PhD, but much depends on your efforts and the university’s standing.

In SPIT mumbai after doing a polytechnic diploma course do I have to give any entrance exams like JEE mains or MHTCET to pursue b.tech in CSE through lateral entry

Anonymous 13th Apr, 2025

Hii,

If you've completed a polytechnic diploma and are considering pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) through lateral entry at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (SPIT) Mumbai, here's what you need to know:

Lateral Entry Admission at SPIT Mumbai

SPIT offers a 3-year B.E. in Computer Engineering program specifically designed for diploma holders seeking lateral entry into the second year of the undergraduate program

Entrance Exam Requirements

Admission to the lateral entry program typically requires candidates to have a valid score in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) . While the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a common entrance exam for engineering programs, SPIT primarily considers MHT CET scores for its admissions

Admission Process

  1. Eligibility : Candidates must have completed a diploma in engineering or technology with a minimum required percentage as specified by the institute.

  2. Entrance Exam : Appear for and secure a qualifying score in the MHT CET.

  3. Application : Apply through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.

  4. Counseling and Seat Allotment : Participate in the counseling process, where seats are allocated based on merit and preferences.

Additional Information

  • Institute-Level Quota : SPIT reserves a certain percentage of seats under the institute-level quota. Admission under this quota may have different criteria and is managed directly by the institute .

  • Fees : The total tuition fee for the 3-year lateral entry program is approximately 4.57 lakh

Can I get into FMS Delhi with poor academics? 1. 10th - 7CGPA 2. 12th- 56.2% 3. Diploma- 72% Currently Im in my final year of B. Pharm

Prachi Kumari 6th Apr, 2025

Hello,

Admission to FMS Delhi primarily depends on your bachelor's degree performance and CAT exam score. For general category applicants, a minimum of 50% marks in graduation is required.

While FMS does consider Class 10 and 12 marks during the selection process, they allocate only 10% weightage to these scores.  Therefore, your current academic record in B. Pharm will be the most significant factor.

To enhance your chances, aim for a high percentile in the CAT exam , as FMS places substantial emphasis on CAT scores during admissions.

Hope it helps !
