The college serves the needs of both students and faculty for their professional careers and research. At present this library has a stock of volumes 30,733 with 9,877 titles of books and above 1,441 back volumes of engineering scientific and technical periodicals. The library subscribes to over 102 National journals and magazines and more than 5,230 e-journals like J-Gate, DELNET. The library caters to the needs of young aspirants of UPSC, APPSC, IES, GRE, GATE, TOEFL, NCERT, and IELTS. The VLITS library follows the Open Access system which encourages the young technocrats to update their knowledge and skill. The library has different important sections namely the Reference section, Periodical section, Issue section, and Digital Library.

Sports are an integral part of building the physical personality of any individual. They give us good exercise which in turn makes us physically strong and refreshed. Regular sporting activity increases our stamina and strength. Any sport, we play can keep us active and leads to our good health. Playing games makes us mentally awake and increases our concentration power. These sports and games play a very important role in increasing students' physical strength and mental balance.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college operates a fleet of 67 buses to provide a smooth glitch less transportation for the students and staff from every important place in Guntur, Vijayawada, Mangalagiri, Tenali, Ponnur, Amaravathi.

The college alumni engage in academic and social activities as shall contribute towards promoting liaison between the alumni and the Institute. To facilitate and encourage alumni to contribute towards improvements in the status of the institute in areas pertaining to academics, industry interactions, and any other area that the alumni and the Institute feel.
