University Polytechnic, AMU was established in 1937 as a constituent college of AMU; it is one of the leading institutions in the country. This co-educational institution of technical learning is located in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, and currently is in operation for more than eight decades. The Diploma in Civil Engineering is offered with 90 seats, while the Diploma in Instrumentation and Control, Diploma in Leather Goods and Footwear Technology, Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and Diploma in Computer Engineering come next with an offer of 30 seats.
