TCE Madurai Placements 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

Thiagarajar College of Engineering Madurai has a placement cell which offers placement opportunities for students in companies from various different sectors. TCE Madurai placement cell also provides training to the students to prepare them for the placement process. The placement cell assesses the students through mock tests and interviews. 

TCE Madurai placement cell also provides internships so that they can learn skills required in the industry. They invite various companies to conduct the placement process after which they select the candidates and selected candidates have to join the company by the date given. As per NIRF 2024, TCE Madurai placed 693 UG students and 40 PG students during the 2023 placement drive at the college. The median salary of UG students was Rs. 6,51,000 LPA and for PG students it was Rs. 3,20,000.

• The students are given an orientation regarding the companies coming for the placement process.

• The placement cell collects the database of interested students and shares it with the companies. The database is collected during the third year itself

• The placement cell assesses the skill of students' on Aptitude skills by an external agency.

• The placement cell arranges training for the seniors, faculty and externals.

• The placement cell visits the companies and invites them for the campus interview.

• The companies accept the invitation and finalise the selection criteria and date.

• The students are selected on the basis of the eligibility criteria and are informed regarding the placement process.

• The placement cell then collects the test and interview performance from the company.

• The placement cell then receives the appointment order of the selected students.

• The students selected then have to join the company by the date mentioned in the offer letter.
