This institute is a government-owned co-educational college affiliated with Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences and received approval from the National Medical Commission. The TMC Tezpur campus covers approximately 3.941 acres. Since the college provides 16 courses under 3 degrees, the teaching of diverse medical courses at multiple levels has been provided.
