The SDIT placement cell also provides necessary training and guidance to the students to make them industry-ready. SDIT provides pre-placement training to final-year students on aptitude, logical skills, and interview techniques. Offer aptitude, technical, and communication training to 2nd and 3rd year students. Assist with internships and placement projects. The SDIT placement cell conducts mock interviews and placement talks with experts.

The placement process for SDIT Mangalore follows these steps:

• Companies visit the campus and give students an overview of the company, its products and services, and the overall job opportunities available.

• Interested students register themselves with the placement office and submit their résumés.

• Companies screen the résumés and shortlist candidates for further rounds of the placement process.

• Companies conduct tests to evaluate the skills and aptitude of the candidates.

• Candidates who qualify for the tests are called for personal interviews.

• Candidates who clear the interviews are finally selected for the job.
