School of Law, VIT-AP University, Amaravati is the constituent college of the VIT-AP University which was set up in 2019. This young college is situated in Inavolu, Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh; the college has gained its unique place among the legal studies institution. Accredited by the Bar Council of India, the college offers three enhanced programmes of Law, two integrated five years programmes and one doctoral programme. The School of Law has a faculty of twelve committed educationists and seeks to offer standard education in law in a complex, computerised world. Vibrancy with coed feature make student from all gender to come and study in the institute creating a conducive environment. 

Every type of legal facility that can be expected to complement the learning process of law students is available at  the School of Law. The classrooms are large and well equipped for all students’ needs besides being fully furnished and well equipped technologically. A moot court hall with all modern facilities has capacity to arrange bench, bar, students’ bench and witness box to give real court experience. The library of the institute is well stocked and contains number of textbooks, journals and law reports. It also has links to online legal database like Manupatra , Lexis Nexis which helps in advanced search of law. The computer lab with standard infrastructure of IT helps students in there curriculum activities.

The courses being conducted by the School of Law, VIT-AP University are only three courses in number and all of them are of full time mode. These are two Five Year Integrated Undergraduate Programmes namely the BA LLB (Hons.) course and the BBA LLB Hons courses each having a sanctioned strength of 120 seats each. The third offering is a Ph.D. programme in Law to afford a chance for the further research in different spheres of the law. The undergraduate programmes and courses admit students up to the total number of 240. 

The administrators realise that the School of Law, VIT-AP University requires some of the best brains to join the programs provided therefore they have developed a system that will allow them to admit the most talented students. For some of the five-year integrated programmes offered at the institute including BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons), the institute relies more on the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), a national level test for law entrance tests. This puts the institute in the same stead as other elite law schools across the country of India.
