The Master of Computer Application course is formed in the year 2001, is approved by AICTE, New Delhi offered by Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida and affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow

Typically, an MCA is a full-time degree course with a duration of two years (four semesters). It covers various aspects of computational theory, programming, algorithm design and optimization, network and database management, mobile technologies, electronics, mathematics, probability, statistics, accounting, finance, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

For admission to first year of MCA( 2 year) a candidate must have passed Bachelors Degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognized Indian University; or its equivalent, recognized by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. Candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.

Admission Details

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow conducts an entrance examination for 85% seats. The candidates are allotted branches on the basis of their merit through counseling conducted by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow

For 15% seat candidates can apply for direct admission to the NIET. Admission will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in qualifying exam and /or respective entrance exam as per the policies of the University.

Candidates seeking admission to the first semester of the six-semester MCA course are required to qualify in the Common Entrance Examination (UPSEE) for admission to Master of Computer Application.

The eligibility criteria for direct admission on seats remaining vacant in the first year after entrance examination counseling shall be such as may be notified from time to time by UPTU.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of this college is better and it has every facilities for the benefits of the students like a playground for sports and canteen for chilling and eating food. Classrooms are also very neat and clean .

Overall experience in this college is good.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very good and there is all facilities available in the college campus itself like hostel canteen library and the classrooms are also very well maintained with full AC conditioning. The surrounding is also very hygienic.
