72 MonthsThe Ph.D. program in Business Policy and Administration shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, offered by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.
Candidates are eligible to apply for the Ph.D. admission test (PET) to be held by the University of Mumbai if they meet the requirements outlined in the current ordinances, O.5473, O.5474, and O.5476.
Exemption from the Ph.D. entrance exam (PET)
Candidates who meet one of the following requirements will not need to take the Ph.D. admission exam (PET). CSIR, UGC, ICAR, ICMR, or DBT teacher fellowship holders who have passed the GATE, SET, NET, or (JRF examinations, completed an M. Phil. at the University of Mumbai in accordance with varying UGC regulations, or completed an M. Phil. degree from any other Indian university that has received recognition, in accordance with the most recent UGC regulations.
Application and Interview Candidates who desire to register for the Ph.D. degree and who have passed the entrance test (PET) conducted by the University of Mumbai.
