Mata Sahib Kaur Girls College Gehal, Barnala, is an affiliated college for girls and was established in January, 2009. Located on 7 acre land, this is a young woman education focused facility that aims at offering quality education to the young ladies in the area. While the college concentrates on both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, it has a good variety of 8 programmes for students. The college offers a total number of 122 students and has a faculty of 17 students which emphasises the one college one student ratio making it easier for students to be attended by their trainers.

Mata Sahib Kaur Girls College has numerous facilities that were aimed to improve the education delivery system. The college offers three different proficient IT laboratories equipped with Core i7 computers and possessing the most recent software. The college also has a student welfare with a 66  room girls hostel; the hostel was built under the supervision of Baba Mitha Singh Ji for the students on the occasion of Sant Atar Singh Ji Maharaja Mastuana.
