Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by Kalyani Government Engineering College, Nadia recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

Admission is taken through WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination). Diploma holders can take admission through WB-JELET (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral Entry) in B.Tech 2nd year.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is not that good compared to the private colleges but it's a fun life there..There are some buildings which are very old and some are new as the government is still developing the college.
