Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology is a four-year (8 semesters) full-time undergraduate program offered by the Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai.

Information Technology (IT) is a branch of engineering that develops technology to gather, process, control, store and disseminate information. IT cuts across every aspect of life, global interaction, multimedia conferencing, shopping on web, ATM, electronic data interchange, Video on demand etc. hereby binding information and society.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects (Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subjects) and obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together
The candidate should have should obtain a non-zero score in the qualifying entrance examination
Any other criterion declared from time to time by the Admitting Authority - Somaiya Vidyavihar University.

Admission Details

A candidates will be eligible to apply if she/he has a non-zero score for Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) / JEE-Main (Paper-1) /PERA CET / MHT-CET examination.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is very good as it have all different type of required labs like physics lab, chemistry lab, etc. It also has library and the a canteen at the ground floor of the college and it also have ac in the classes.

College infrastructure is very good as it has ac in overall college and the classroom is also good. It also have it’s separate library and canteen as well so you have everything in one college only and its very good
