The college infrastructure is quite good and meets most of the daily needs of students. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with basic teaching aids, while some rooms also have smart boards. Laboratories are properly set up with sufficient equipment for practical learning and are maintained regularly. The library has a good collection of academic books, reference materials, and a decent reading environment. Wi-Fi connectivity is available across the campus, though the speed can fluctuate at times. Sports facilities are available for both indoor and outdoor games, encouraging students to stay active. Hostels are clean, living spaces are hygienic, and the food quality is acceptable and improving. Overall, the infrastructure supports academics and campus life well.
I am studying my course here because it gives basic and clear knowledge of the subject. The teaching quality is decent and most teachers are helpful and supportive. Some teachers explain topics very well and clear doubts in class, while few teachers are average and depend more on notes. The syllabus is mostly updated and covers important subjects needed for exams and future jobs. Practical sessions and assignments help in understanding concepts better, but sometimes they feel more exam-oriented. Overall, academics are good for learning fundamentals, and if a student does self-study, it becomes more useful and job-oriented.
Placements in this college are average but improving every year. Some good companies come for campus placement, mostly for technical and sales roles. Around 50–60 percent students get placed if they are active and have good skills. The highest package goes to few students from technical branches, while most students get average salary package. The average package is okay for freshers. The placement cell is supportive and informs students about drives and training sessions. They also provide basic guidance for resume and interview, but students need to prepare on their own for better opportunities.
The course fee is reasonable compared to other colleges offering similar courses. The money we pay is mostly worth it because we get decent teaching, basic facilities, and a good learning environment. Infrastructure, labs, and library support the studies well. Placement support is average but improving, so students need to work hard on their own also. For students from middle-class background, this college is affordable and gives fair return if you focus on studies and skill development. Overall, it is a good option for the fee charged and provides satisfactory value for money.
Campus life in this college is good and enjoyable. The campus is decent in size and has enough space to sit, walk, and relax with friends. There are some cultural events, fests, and sports activities which students can take part in. The best part is spending time with friends after classes. Students are friendly and teachers are mostly supportive. Support staff also helps when needed. The location of the college is okay and feels safe. Security is present and basic medical help is available in case of emergency. Overall, campus life is peaceful and good for studies and personal growth.
Overall, my experience in this college is good for average students who are serious about studies and skills.
It has large campus around 150 acres with academic blocks, hostels, staff residences, and green spaces. it has laboratories centarl library computer centre Auditorium and seminar Halls. it has multiple boys hostel and girl's hostel with Wi-Fi facilities, canteen, Banking and ATM within campus.
I am a B.tech computer science and engineering student. In first year there were regular classes and labs but now in 2nd year we less classes and labs, so we can't be dependent on teachers, have to study on our own.
Best placement outcomes for CSE/IT. Core engineering placements are limited. High packages mostly for top performing students. Self-effort (coding, internship) is crucial. Many students also opt foe GATE, PSU prep, or higher studies.
It is much cheaper than private colleges. scholarships and fee waivers available for eligible students. one of the top AKTU colleges, strong competition and better learning environment. infrastructure is average, not luxury- level.
campus life at IET Lucknow is active, balanced, and student driven. it may not be flashy like private universities, but it offers a strong academic environment, freedom, and memorable college experiences. many fests and departmental events, technical events and hackathons are organized throughout the year.
College infrastructure is good not best , there is very few wifi installed in campus , libraries is good and most of the academic book are available, and issuing book from library is hassel free , classroom is decent .
In this college faculty mostly focuses on theories, not on practical knowledge, only few faculty are supportive . Faculties are only running after completing syllabus, courses are outdated and not well stuctured.
Placement is approx 40%, which is generally in Marketing field. If you are seeking for placement in any other domain then you have to apply off campus. But in Marketing placement is decent and satisfactory.
as this college is government-funded, But this course is self- financed. one year fees is approx rupees 80000 which is similar to most of the college but after getting scholarship it is easier to pay college fees.
As such there is no campus life in this college , only few fest are being organised,by several departments , MBA department organises HUNAR fest , IET also organises its fest , in which some institute pacticipates.
Infrastructure is normal according to Government affiliated one. Not that maintained as in private institutions Greenary is there in overall campus area In first look one may not like but it's environment around is quite peaceful.
Well structured curriculum, also Faculties are quite qualified and there is proper rules and regulations for examination and Practicals Faculties are helpful and not very strict environment in terms of academics.
Quite good in Marketing field,as Mostly Sales related companies do visit in campus placement Placement percent is good. Off campus placement is more on demand. Other specialisation' related companies visit less in number.
Well good as Return on Investment is quite high.
Greenary and environment is quite fabulous and peaceful
For Engineering it's quite better, but for management studies one can see other options too.
According to me College instfrastructre is very good and college is have high building and large playing background and college have large amounts hostel have been situated for everyone boys for available.
According to me College acedmic is very well and acedmic curriculum is very good and teachers are very well educated and have more experienced and every techear have great knowledge with acedmic sessions
Placement are in btech is very good mean iet college provides to great Placement opportunities to btech students but not great provides Placement fo mba students so Placement is average as compared to the college
The infrastructure of IET Lucknow is well-equipped and efficient for students. The hostel and library amenities are reliable, and the Wi-Fi connection is stable throughout the campus. The campus is safe, and hostel entry is controlled appropriately. Classrooms have projectors and adequate seating.
Topics are explained simply, and doubt clarification is given proper importance. The semester examinations are of moderate difficulty, and students who attend the lectures consistently should find no problem in doing well. Practicals are also encouraged through laboratory work and small projects by the teachers.
I am currently a first-year MCA student at IET Lucknow, and based on what I’ve learned from seniors and faculty, the college has a solid academic and placement reputation in Uttar Pradesh. For the MCA program, the placement trend depends a lot on student skills and coding practice. The highest package offered in recent years for MCA was around 20 LPA, and the lowest was around 1.5 LPA. On average, students are placed with packages of 4 to 6 LPA.
The infrastructure of the college is in shambles to tell frankly. The library has strange restrictions for taking up laptops. Classrooms and labs are okay with satisfactory and Wi-Fi connections are provided. Hostels are terrible. Food is tasteless and only one canteen is there on campus. The sports complex of college has been under construction for past few years with yet no completion in sight.
Teachers are good and highly qualified. They are helpful. The course is quite good but not ready for industries. Semester exams are usually moderate but sometimes such a good level of difficulty. In the laboratory of chemical engineering, some of the experiments are not performed due to a lack of instruments.
About 50% of students get placed. The lowest package is about 3.5 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. Cisco, TCS, Naini, and Wipro. 90% of students get internships. The B.Tech course curriculum is too busy. 75% attendance is mandatory.
The library is good; all books are available in our college library. There is no need to buy books from outside as the library allows borrowing books for a particular time. Classes are fully modern and clean. The computer labs are also clean, and all systems are in running condition. Wi-Fi facility is available but does not work properly.
Faculty members are well-qualified. They are motivating and hardworking and always focus on practical things rather than only book-based learning. Overall, faculty members are good. The working staff could be friendlier sometimes. Teachers always motivate us to do better in life as well as academically.
Placement opportunities are okay to good. It fully depends on how you prepare yourself in the 4 years based on skills, personality, behavior, knowledge, etc. Generally, you get placement if you have skills and knowledge. The packages also depend on your skill. The highest package in my batch is 15 LPA.
Campus life is enjoyable
The quality of food in the mess is the worst. The college doesn't have proper medical facilities. The hostels have less number of toilets and washrooms. The canteen food is okay. The campus is very small so there are very few options for sports. College is having table tennis, badminton court, basketball court. It doesn't have a cricket ground, football ground and a volleyball court.
% of teachers have good knowledge and some teachers have good teaching skills. Some teachers do not behave nicely with the students. Overall the teaching quality is good. This is a very prestigious College of uttar pradesh government
7-10% of the students got placed in the chemical branch. Last year, the average package was 3.5 LPA. The college has good placement in CS, IT branch, and average placement in ECE branch. Students have to do internships on their own because college charges high fees for internships.
Okay
There are many facilities in the hostel such as Wi-Fi, library and playing ground. There is also a canteen, and the entire campus has Wi-Fi. There is a library, etc. The quality of food served is excellent, and the canteen is also good. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty members of our college were good. Faculty members of the mechanical and electrical departments are very nice. Even the electronics and civil departments have some world-class faculty. Even the guest lecturers were not good enough. The course curriculum was very traditional and is just like the curriculum, followed by many other engineering colleges. They need to incorporate more cutting edge technologies in the curriculum.
About 70% to 80% of the students got placed from the school. The highest salary package offered in off-campus placements is 37 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Many companies like Honda, TCS Ninja, TCS Digital, etc., visit here for placements. Many students got internships from our college.
Yes value for the money ????
ECE course is the best, so I chose it. The best thing about this course is we can opt for both private as well as government field. There is no need to improve anything in this course. Many events and fests are organised in our college.

Hi there!
Congrats on your daughter’s admissions! That’s a big achievement. I understand the dilemma you’re facing with the high fees at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. Rs.32 lakhs is indeed a significant amount, and managing it through an education loan can be stressful.
