Government Science and Commerce College, Bhopal (GSC Bhopal) is a fully financed university that was founded in 1982. The multi-educational college is situated in sector-H, Rajharsh Colony, Kolar, Bhopal and it is an affiliated college comprised of various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Spread of 2.94 acres, GSC Bhopal has accomplished NAAC accreditation which assure and enhance the quality input in the institute. It caters for a total student enrolment of 2,340 and has a comfortable faculty composition of 50 students per faculty. At present GSC Bhopal offers 19 courses in 6 degree programmes in science, commerce as well as arts fields.

With the necessary educational and personal conditions, the college is provided with up-to-date facilities. Being an integral part of any learning institution the library now subscribe to 10 leading national Indian newspapers both Hindi and English and we use SOUL Version 2.0 for operations. Sports and fitness conscious students have an opportunity to exercise in the gym with multigym and weight training facilities at the school. Sports amenities consist of space for Paprenda (Kabaddi), Khurda (Kho-Kho), Basumal (Volleyball); desks for TT, Judo Kwando, and Malla-Yuddha (Wrestling). The college also has well equipped laboratories for practical learning to address the technological advancement, the college has sound Information Technology Infrastructure. First aid facilities at the health center will provide the students with adequate health care and guest rooms are provided for the visiting faculty and students’ family members.

GSC Bhopal, through its academic programmes enrols students for 19 full-time courses in diverse disciplines. There is application of offering 11 Undergraduate programmes, 8 Postgraduate programmes in various disciplines of Science, Commerce and Arts. Some of them are B.Sc Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, B.Com and various M.Sc and MA degree courses. It also provides computer Science and Biotechnology programmes under self financing because the demand arises from the current employment opportunities.

Like most educational institutions, Government Science and Commerce College, Bhopal is repercussions for the admission policy to enrol all students with equal merit. The admission criteria mostly include the achievement of the students in their previous year examination with 10+2 for under graduate courses and graduation for post graduate courses.
