Government Medical College, Srinagar offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. GMC Srinagar courses are available in full-time study mode in the Medicine and Allied Science stream. GMC Srinagar courses include MBBS, PGD, MS, and MD degree programmes in various specialisations. The GMC Srinagar MBBS course is covered at the UG level with a duration of 5 years and 6 months including a year of compulsory internship.
GMC Srinagar PG courses are MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery) programmes which last for 3 years and two PGD programmes which last for 2 years.
