66 MonthsBachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) is a 5.5-year academic program containing a 4 and 1/2-year academic session and a one-year internship program degree offered by Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh, and approved by the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH).
NEET-qualified candidates must have passed 10 + 2 (Science) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/Council or University and must have obtained 45% marks. An appearing candidate may also apply but their candidature shall only be valid when they obtain minimum pass marks in the examination before counseling. The candidate must attain the minimum age of 17 years on or before 31 July of the current year.
Candidates are shortlisted based on the NEET examination and have to appear in the 1st round of counseling. A 2nd round of counseling and mop-up round be held for candidates listed on the waiting list provided that there are seats vacant after the 1st round or 2nd round of counseling by the Govt. authorized board/council.
