BP Sulakhe Commerce College, Barshi, was established in the year 1969. It is one of the renowned educational institutions located in Barshi, Maharashtra. Being an affiliated college, it also boasts of accreditation by the NAAC, besides offering various programmes such as commerce and computer applications. This college has a campus spread over 18 acres of land and has a total of 1,005 students with a nearly balanced ratio of male and female students which is 687 males students and 652 female students. The institute has 18 full-time faculties who offer 6 courses under the five degree programmes of commerce, computer applications, and economics.

BP Sulakhe Commerce College offers 6 courses including both under Graduate as well as postgraduate courses. There are courses offered by the college in full-time in Commerce and Computer Applications. B.Com and BCA .The undergraduate level has both B. Com and BCA. Both of these courses are for three years. In order to gain master's in the study of commerce, the college offers two-year M.Com and a one-year postgraduate diploma, PGDCA. Even at the doctoral level, the college offers courses in Commerce as well as in Economics for those willing to go deeper into their research work pertaining to either of these fields.
