Asan Institute of Management, Chennai was established in 1997 is an affiliated college located at Jaladampet, Chennai. Located at a sprawling 12-acre land near Mubarak nagar, the institute is recognised by AICTE, All India Council for Technical Education. Asan Institute of Management has two postgraduate programmes, MBA and MCA with a total admission capacity of 84. The faculty of the institute comprises 9 members out of which it gives enough focus to students to pay individual attention to each student.

Asan Institute of Management offers two full-time postgraduate programmes: MBA – Master of business Administration and MBA  – Master of Computer Applications. This programme has an intake capacity of 60 students for MBA and 24 students for MCA, and hence a total of 84 students’ seat in both the programmes. Each of the programmes takes two years to complete and their main focus is to increase industry relevance of Skill and knowledge among the students.

The admission at Asan Institute of Management is competitive and holistic in that they only select students with great qualifications. As for the MBA programme, the ones considered are selected using entrance tests including MAT TANCET CMAT CAT XAT, and other approved MBA entrance examinations. Selected candidates are then invited for a Group Discussion process, and then Personal Interviews. The admission procedure of MCA also includes scores obtained from Christ University entrance test/ CET, TANCET administered by Anna University or the MCA Entrance Test conducted for the Consortium of Professional Colleges in Tamil Nadu.
