Amandeep College of Nursing, Amritsar, commenced in 2012 and is a popular nursing college in Punjab, India, for imparting education in the nursing field. This co-educational college is situated on the Amritsar-Pathankot Road in connection with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). This campus occupies an area of 3 acres to support the needs of the learning institution. The college has a total of 219 students and 35 employees of teaching faculties, so it has a controlled student-faculty ratio. Currently, it has 2 degrees with 3 Courses offered by Amandeep College of Nursing and focuses on training nurses in different nursing fields in order to cope with the higher demand of qualified nurses that are needed in the societies.

The college has elaborated the list of functional facilities that contribute to students’ educational process and their personalities forming. A laboratory is an important learning resource for nursing students since this setup offers practical experience. It is a place that provides an extended list of books, journals, and electronic sources of knowledge. As for the extracurricular activities, the college has the auditorium for the events or seminars, physical facilities and sport grounds to encourage the students for the sports and group activities.

There are currently three full-time programme offered at Amandeep College of Nursing, which serve different nursing education streams. These are a 4-year B.Sc. Nursing programme a 3-year General Nursing programme, and a 2-year Post B.Sc. Nursing course. The cumulative capacity for these courses has been sanctioned for 150 seats, with 60 for B.Sc Nursing, 50 for GNM and 40 for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
