About SPEC Hyderabad
St. Peter’s Engineering College or SPEC as it is popularly known as commenced in the year 2007 and is an engineering College in Hyderabad, Telangana. SPEC is an institution linked to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and provides the students with undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of engineering. The college is under taken by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Tucked in a 14 acre land, SPEC has a total admission of two thousand, four hundred and forty-eight students and one hundred and fifty-seven.faculty. At the moment, the institute teaches 11 courses across two degrees’ levels, with the focus on engineering disciplines.
It is understood clearly that St. Peter’s Engineering College offers a range of amenities by which it supports the students’ academic and learning capacity. The college library having an area of 700 Sq.mt. maintains approximately 49,489 books and access 140 national/ international journals. It is designed to take 150 students at a time. The campus comprises well-equipped laboratories; computing and information technology facilities consisting of over 500 computer systems, and wireless internet facility. To address issues of physical fitness and recreation, SPEC provides boarders and students a 400-meter athletic track and play courts for the various games. It also has a health centre with first aid amenities, hygienically serving canteen, Boys and girls hostels and Training & Placement Cell.
SPEC provides different type of engineering programmes. Other programmes include Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology) and Computer Science and Engineering – Data Science stream. The college also has master degree programmes in specific areas of technical study like Electrical Power Systems and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

Educational Qualification:
