Rayat and Bahra Institute of Engineering and Nano Technology, Hoshiarpur Campus, or RBIENT, is one of the well known colleges founded in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. This affiliated college was set up in 2008 and has been preparing future engineers for the last decade. Situated across a vast area of 7.5 acres, RBIENT provides the right atmosphere favorable for learning and development. Education at this institute is recognised by the All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which guarantees the level of instruction at this institution complies with national standards. RBIENT’s total number of student enrolment is 557 while the total number of faculty members is 60, making sure that our student teacher ratio is ideal.

Among the facilities are highly developed recreational facilities with a notion of making the learning atmosphere more complete and comfortable.The institute has well-equipped and modren laboratories for Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. These laboratories offer student practical skills and a good base of knowledge that is so important in the future work. It has a library which is well equipped with many books, local and international journals and even the internet as a source of resource of information for the students and teachers. For those who need to be accommodated, RBIENT has separate hostels for boys and girls with activities centres, compound, dining hall and common rooms respectively. The institute also has concern with the health of the students with fully air-conditioned first aid centre and availability of medical doctor.

The institute provides 9 engineering programmes. They all full time B Tech degree programmes that take four years. RBIENT provides B.Tech programmes that are Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Such a system of courses gives students the opportunity to choose a subject that is suitable for their desires and further professions.

RBIENT admits students based on a composite criterion that aims at being as objective as possible due to the employment of numerous tracks for the penetrating students. The primary way is the result of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) Main, which are the engineering tests is recognised all over the country.
