Located in the vibrant city of Pune in Maharashtra, Maharashtra Education Society's Institute of Management and Career Courses, Pune, was established in 1983. Being an affiliated college, it is AICTE-approved and offers various postgraduate programs in management and computer applications. Located on a 1.25-acre campus, MES IMCC has a total student enrolment of 336, and the institute is staffed by a faculty of 21 dedicated members. There are two specialised streams of degree courses: Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications, which meet the dynamic requirements of the corporate world and the ever-burgeoning technology sector.

Maharashtra Education Society's Institute of Management and Career Courses has a number of modern facilities which help enrich the learning experience for its students. Within the institute, there is a well-equipped library functioning as a comprehensive information resource centre. The library was started in 1983 concurrently with the college and has since undergone several up-gradations to become a modern hybrid setup. The facility is open 12 hours a day and contains a vast collection of books, journals, e-resources, and databases. The college also maintains separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls, ensuring that students who come from different parts of the country have comfortable accommodation. The institute has two full-time postgraduate courses viz. Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Applications with sanctioned intake of 180 each thereby adding to 360 in these two programmes. The two-year programmes aim at providing students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in their respective subjects. While the MBA programme emphasises developing managerial and leadership skills, the MCA programme was instituted to create proficient professionals in the field of computer applications and software development.

The admission procedure in MES IMCC is based on the rules laid down by the Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. The institute, in the case of the MBA course, requires candidates to take the Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test (MAH MBA CET), which is one of the primary factors of admission. The admission criteria for the MCA programme are also different.
