CODT is the College of Design and Technology, Indore – a university-level Institute for Design Education in the central of India’s Madhya Pradesh. This affiliated college was set up in 2014, and it has been a home to many young designers and artists in the shortest time possible. CODT is located right across the Starlit Tower, at GSITS College Square is a relatively small college occupying 0.34 acres of land. Currently, this college has a small number of students with 30 enrollments, and a friendly team of 8 faculty members. CODT’s focus is centered on offering three unique degree types of design and fine arts and has organised its curriculum around these areas.

For the students of CODT there are many facilities provide and that help in increasing the ability of learning of the students. The college itself also possesses a large efficiently stocked library with an overwhelmingly national as well as international collection of text books and journals that the students are able to make use of for their studies. For the admission, CODT provides accommodation in boys’ and girls’ hostel for out station students who want to stay in the school midst. The infrastructure facilities of the campus are Wi-Fi enabled to facilitate the easy use of the Internet by students. 

The technology use in design education is facilitated by facilities such as the modern computer laboratory with modern technology. The college also includes specialized laboratories for training purposes. extra curriculum activities, CODT offers sport rooms, an assembly and seminar hall for events and seminars respectively. The campus also boasts sufficient space for car parking, and all students are taken care off through a health center which has first aid facilities.

The College of Design and Technology, Indore, provides a limited range of three full time courses each having a definite niche to fulfill the requirement of the design and fine arts field. These programmes are a four-year B.Des in Fashion Design, a three-year BA in Fine Arts, four-year BFA in Applied Arts and Diploma in Graphic Design from CODT. These courses are meant to ensure the students gather both the theoretical and practical aspect in their respective fields. Total number of allowed students is 30 but specific numbers of seats for certain courses are not mentioned on purpose. It has small class sizes which is an implication of quality education offered by the college while taking care of individual capacities of every student.
